You've come all this way. You've found the local markets and restaurants in Troncones and Mahagua, the small fishing village to the north on the newly paved road.

Now what? Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa are a half hour away with wonderful shopping, great restaurants, two beautiful golf courses, scuba diving and world class deep sea fishing. Take some time and walk around the central market of Zihuatanejo. It's a wonderful adventure and a sight to see in itself.

Ixtapa Island is a wonderful place to visit for the day. It's a short boat ride from Ixtapa where you can snorkel, hike around the island and enjoy a Mexican feast on the beach. The shuttle boats run daily.

Think you're ready for more adventure? Beautiful Patzcauro at 6000 ft. elevation, is a mountain town only 3 hours to the north with unbelievable Spanish architecture, shopping, a beautiful lake and island to explore. Patzcuaro and the surrounding towns are known for their wonderful hand crafted items. It is one of our favorite trips.
