The Casa
photo Almost 20 years ago, my wife and I happened upon this beautiful piece of paradise. We had spent many years south of the border investigating numerous locations in which to have a second home. Troncones was what we were looking for in every way. As a building contractor, with thirty years of expertise in the trades, and being bilingual, I wanted to build our place on the beach. My wife agreed, and so we created our little piece of paradise, a two story, two bedroom, two bath home that is approximately 1400 sq ft. with an office. Enough room for up to six people to enjoy their group activities and have their own privacy. This is not always available when renting bungalows or communal living arraignments at other locations.
photo Both bedrooms are nicely decorated with Mexican furniture and art work purchased on our many explorations throughout the country. Both have air conditioning and fans to allow for the choice of air conditioning or open air. The master suite is located on the second floor with two private patios. One faces the beach with the most incredible views of the ocean. The other balcony faces the steep Sierra Madre Mountains. The master suite with vaulted ceilings consists of the bedroom, with king size bed, the bath with an overhead shower, and an office or third bedroom. The downstairs bedroom, with its tall ceiling and wonderful ventilation, has a queen size bed and can easily accommodate another single bed when needed. It has a patio and a private entrance as well. WiFi and a CD/DVD player are available. *see additional charges for AC on rate page.
photo The open air kitchen, dining and living areas surround the indoor/outdoor pool, the focal point of the main floor. Designed to bring the outdoors in, it transitions to the patio and gardens bringing in the ocean breezes, warm sunshine and view of the water. The kitchen you will soon realize has been designed and stocked by a great cook (my wife). You will find virtually everything there to prepare those great meals (except the microwave, they just don't last down here). If you are missing utensils please let the staff know promptly. The dining room cabinet is full of numerous games and books for all ages to enjoy after a hard day of beach combing.
photo Our living room/dinning area furnished with Mexican equipale and natural rattan furniture providing both comfort and durability from the ocean climate which is virtually in your living room. Hence the indoor/out door swimming pool designed as a lap pool with a conventional swimming area.
photo The house comes with daily maid service and yard maintenance. Our staff is well trained to respect your privacy and maintain a spotless house. Other services can be provided so please contact us for more information.
Welcome to our little slice of paradise. Rules and regulations.
